And as befitting Hokkaido’s largest winter resort, Rusutsu’s state of the art facilities include 19 lifts (most of them covered) lifting an impressive 31 200 people per hour, by way of gondolas, hooded quad chairs and several surface lifts. Other on-snow facilities include:

And for those that prefer to keep to the pistes Rusutsu’s snow grooming team fire up the Pisten Bullys nightly, so come daybreak the resort’s 42km of perfectly groomed corduroy makes skiing a dream! You may even have time to relax a little and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Toya and Mt Yotei from one of the many on-mountain restaurants.
